The Nihonbashi Sakura Yatai is an annual event in Nihonbashi that celebrates the arrival of spring amidst a traditional landscape, featuring a variety of shops, including long-established stores in the Nihonbashi area.
At “Food Lab presented by &mog,” a new project called “Choose your impact” using food tech ingredients will be selling crepes, as well as dango (rice dumplings) and drinks with cherry blossom and spring-like themes.
The event saw its largest ever attendance, and the venue was bustling with visitors strolling around with food and drinks in hand under the spring sunshine.
At the booth, we offered a variety of items, including the new “Choose your impact” crepe “Mirai of gastronomy crepe,” the “Bunmei Kaika Sakura Parfait” which evokes the history of Nihonbashi with a seasonal touch , the adorable “Sakura An Hanami Dango,” and refreshing “Sakura Soda” and “Sakura Black Tea.” A wide range of customers stopped by our booth , and we could see the high level of interest in food tech ingredients in particular.

At “&mog Food Lab,” we support the process of turning ideas into reality through prototyping and development in the kitchen on the 4th floor, and by holding tasting events and providing practical service in the dining area on the 1st floor. It serves as a place for real-world interaction with local residents and visitors, and we are working to create opportunities for products refined at &mog Food Lab to be widely evaluated by the general public.
Mitsui Fudosan will continue to use this facility as a base to consistently support the creation and implementation of food-related projects, and to promote initiatives that connect the city and its people.
