“We exhibited at the SKS JAPAN 2025 Exhibition and Food Future Yokocho . “

&mog Food Lab, developed and operated by Mitsui Fudosan, supports the development of menus and services together with business operators who are responsible for the future of food.

&mog Food Lab exhibited at SKS JAPAN 2025, Japan’s largest food tech conference, held for three days from October 23rd to 25th, 2025, at COREDO Muromachi Terrace in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. The event, which brought together food innovators, startups, food companies, and researchers from around the world, was themed “Singular Visions, Collective Impact — UNLOCK & CO CREATE, ‑” and covered a variety of topics over the three days, including food and technology, sustainability, regional collaboration, and the future shape of the food industry, to discuss the future of food.

&mog Food Lab aims to take the original menus and food and beverage services it has developed and prototyped and extend them beyond the confines of an experimental “lab” to urban implementation, connecting them to the real world and the market. SKS JAPAN 2025 was seen as an opportunity to expand the possibilities for this “social implementation” – an ideal venue to meet and interact with companies, startups, buyers, policymakers, and others who are looking to the future of food, and to begin considering collaborations.

Introduced the menus and products that have been developed at &mog Food Lab . As part of the framework of “Food Future Yokocho/Street Exhibition,” visitors were able to touch and feel the products.

Many visitors commented, “It wasn’t just the theory and technology that was important, but the fact that the food was actually in an edible form gave me an idea of what it would be like,” “If there is a lab like this, we would definitely like to consider collaborating,” and “I see potential in proposals that take the local community, the environment, and health into consideration,” and the event garnered more interest and response than expected.

&mog Food Lab supports the process of turning ideas into reality through prototyping and development in the KITCHEN on the fourth floor, and tasting events and practical serving in the DINING on the first floor. As a place for real contact with local residents and visitors, we are working to create opportunities for products refined at &mog Food Lab to be widely appreciated by the general public. Going forward, Mitsui Fudosan will continue to use this facility as a base to consistently support the creation and implementation of food, and advance efforts to connect the city and its people.

. Contents: Conferences (sessions and lectures), venture pitches, exhibition booths, a street exhibition called “Food Future Yokocho,” and other sessions. Approximately 40-50 product exhibits and session programs.
Participants : A diverse group of people from Japan and overseas will gather, including food tech companies, startups, food manufacturers, researchers, buyers, and general visitors.
